Summer Goals!

I've taken a temporary break from teaching tech this summer, and dedicating the next 3 months to re-calibrate to:

Publish one of my AppInventor  projects to Google Play
Print one of my TinkerCad projects on a local 3D printer here in the Charlottesville area
Download the new ScratchJr app now available to Android devices

Check out the latest here:

AppInventor

The folks at MIT just launched a sharing gallery for AppInventor projects that works like Scratch 2.0 studios where you can share and download shared projects to re-mix. To get to it, you'll now see "Gallery" as an option at the top of your open session. Click on it, and you'll land at the gallery view where you can scroll or meta text search (enter "ball" and you'll get results that have ball not just in title, but anywhere in project description)

ScratchJr

Made for the K-2 crowd, MIT released the Ios version earlier this year, and now they've released an Android version.

What are your tech goals this summer?
