MIT Media Lab is happening!

A couple of cool initiatives are in progress involving the MIT Media lab and their platforms:

Host a family coding day - Melissa Viezel Program Coordinator of the DevTech Research Group at Tufts University  and her team are conducting research using Scratch Jr (pre-school and Kindergarten aged kids). They also plan to use KIBO, a robotics toolkit also targeted for this age group. Check it out to learn more.

Learning Creative Learning is back! I participated in the first distance learning LCL class several years ago, and was very impressed. I'll post snippets of info and video throughout the next several posts to keep you up to speed, but for full details to join yourself, check it out.
