As promised, take a look at this short video tutorial about how to create a basic new block in Scratch 2.0. I also got started creating a Scratch project using the new motion sensing feature that uses your computer's web cam, and next week, I'll upload a short video for this process as well. And I wanted to take a moment to recommend using the new "backpack" feature. Very nice way to share sprites and custom programming project to project, even for those you did not create yourself. I've used it, once logged on to my 2.0 account with a project open, while browsing the 2.0 gallery and when I find sprites that have programming I want to learn more about, you can simply drag them to the "backpack" area of the Scratch development environment and when you close out of the project you've been viewing, you'll see what you added to the "backpack" area appears in whatever project you open.
