There's nothing like watching quality animation shorts to spark creative ways to tell a story. This weekend, I had a chance to watch "Oscar Nominated Short Films 2013: Animation", which included the animated short Oscar winner, "Paperman". Lots of very sweet, funny stories that I'd highly recommend like "Fresh Guacamole" and  "The Longest Daycare" as well.

And taking a cue from a creative way to use butterflies to tell a story used in "The Longest Daycare", check out my new intermediate Alice "how to" video about getting started creating custom animation actions ("methods"). I'll be using this animation snippet I created for the next series of Alice videos to demonstrate some programming tips and tricks to make your animation more "movie like".
