Why does my character disappear underground??
Now that you've been playing around with the Alice galleries, figuring out what Alice characters can do, you've probably added some to your scene, programmed some animation, like "roll", and noticed that some characters disappear under the "ground" in your scene, and others don't. Why is that? The answer is that some characters were designed with their center of gravity in the middle of their body, while others, their center of gravity was built in their feet! You can see this "center" when you click on your character while in the "add objects" view. When you get the box around them that appears, look for the blue line on the "x" axis. If it runs across the middle of your character, they won't disappear into the ground when you add an animation like "roll". But, if this blue line on the "x" axis is at their feet, they will disappear. To see this in action, add "Boar" and "Bunny" from the "Animals" folder. Click on each to get the box. You'll see for "Boar", the blue line runs through his middle; for "Bunny", it runs through the feet. Add animation "roll" for each of them; you'll see that "Bunny" disappears for part or all (depending on your "revolution" selection).
How to fix?
Position your character away from the ground, testing to see how far up is needed, if their center of gravity is at their feet.
