Starting this week, I'm joining the MIT Media Lab MOOC (massive open online course), "Learning Creative Learning". Check it out here and consider joining, too! And even better, the creator of Scratch, Mitch Resnick, provides opening remarks in the video introducing the class, and one of his early papers is featured in the first activity reading assignment describing how and why he created Scratch.

I'll be using this blog to participate in some of the assignments, the first of which is to describes something early in your life that caused you to love learning in a way that influences what you do today. And, I hope these posts will give all of you I've taught an inside look into why I am a programmer! Keep on reading and see if it make you think too, about what inspires you.
