Kudos to Kodu!

In a recent ReadWrite Enterprise column, they cited Kodu as an example of a way that Microsoft excels by investing in the future (teaching kids how to program).

And, to follow from my last post about working real world programming into your lesson plan, take a look at this application that lets you edit its settings (i.e. number of fish, background color) and html code directly (i.e. to set the size of your results to fix your blog design), and paste the the code you revise into an html player, like a blogger.com "gadget" to add a cool animated pond scene. I played around with it and added my early results to this blog - have fun feeding the fishes!
